And darkness falls once again...

I watched 'The One Show' the other day (a rare occurrence), and they were talking about keeping diaries. Like most people, I attempted to keep a diary, but usually gave up by the end of the week. The only reason I ever wrote down my thoughts
was when I was hiding in my room, deeply upset - when I could think of nothing else to do because I was so distraught. It never helped, it just made me more hateful.
Anyway, they were saying that keeping a diary is growing out of fashion, because of social networking sites (and blogs, which I think they forgot to mention). But no one shares their truly intimate details online, do they? Even now, I started off writing a post about my feelings (as ever in a very careful and reserved way) but deleted it all. My friend once called me a 'closed book' because I hardly ever reveal my feelings to anyone.

Although, as they mentioned on the show, perhaps it would be a good idea to write down my own thoughts, because as you write them out, you can work through your emotions better. Apparently.

*Congratulations, you have discovered the purpose of a Blog*

I'll probably remove this later, like I did with my first blog.
