It's the end of the world... or not.

I could think of a million different quips regarding this 'rapture' nonsense, and the lack of it. But I will spare you and my few, approved twitter followers, even if this is probably the only time such a topic will ever arise in the foreseeable future. Though I do enjoy reading the hilarious tweets other people have come up with, as Twitter users have been going crazy over this. But then you get some people who seem to genuinely believe that there will be a rapture! I am resisting the urge to blab on about my viewpoints on religion, life and how other people shouldn't live it, but I am too tired to dive into that sink-hole. I feel like I'm treading on hot coals as it is.

I loved how 'zombie apocalypse' was trending a couple of days ago, after CDC's release of a survival guide for such an occasion, or, in truth, for more realistic disasters; disasters that you can't simply 'shoot in the head' (though I have to thank 'The Walking Dead' for teaching my mum that advice).

Slightly disappointed that nothing did happen, after all the hype. Of course, in reality it wouldn't be at all fun, and compared with the previous games, Resident Evil 5 reminds you that these were real people once, as they maintain their human appearance, and you are only reminded they are zombies when a parasite appears from them.

If I were less tired, I could go on about all the thought I've put into thinking about apocalypses. Maybe another predicted rapture day.

On another note: Just watched V for Vendetta for the first time. Very powerful; definite favourite. I have only read the beginning of the comic, quite a while ago, and have been meaning to see this film. Fell in love with V and his voice! Natalie Portman was brilliant too (major understatement. I must watch Black Swan soon!). I must resist analysing it for now, so I'll finish with a quote:

V: "Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea, Mr. Creedy, and ideas are bulletproof."
